One of the year ten pupils at Llanedeyrn High School shares her holiday experience.

When I went on holiday with my mum, dad and brother to Benidorm on the Costa Blanca in Spain we had such a good time.

We stayed in a hotel called the Madeira Centro.

We went for two weeks so had lots of time to do different things; we spent a lot of the time at the beach which is called Levante Beach.

I absolutely love shopping so had to go to the market like four times! Other days we would chill out by the pool, sunbathe for a bit then go for something to eat.

Another day we went to Terra Mitica which is a theme park with loads of good rides so we all had fun there. (See video)

Another day we went to Aqualandia which is a water park which was amazing; going down all the different slides, some of them really scary.

Flights from Cardiff to Alicante cost between £65-£125 (one way) in the summer holidays with bmibaby. One week with bed and breakfast for a family of four at the Madeiro Centro costs around £1700.
