A new week, a new UNCRC video! We’ve had Right Words, Wrong Order and Children’s Wrongs which were both made by the pros. This week we’ve got a compilation of short clay animations made by young people in Wales.

UNCRC Claymation from Dynamix Ltd on Vimeo.

If that wasn't enough you can click here and check out a pdf on how they made them and how you can make some yourself.

The UNCRC or United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child is an international agreement that protects the human rights of people under the age of 18 and Wales was the first country in the UK to fully adopt this and implement it in to its policy making. There’s a whopping 42 parts to it that directly concerns young people (you can see them all here) and most of them will be self-evident but that doesn’t mean they’re not important or can be ignored.

The video comes from the Let’s Get It Right website which is this massive resource tool for teachers and youth workers to spread the message about the UNCRC. We’ve decided to cherry-pick some of the more interesting parts and post them here on CLIC. Keep an eye out for more videos and interactive widgets over the next couple of weeks.
