The first ever Cardiff Multicultural Mela
The very first, free of charge 'Cardiff Multicultural Mela' will take place
on Sunday 29th July 2007 at the exclusive Coopers Field, Cardiff Castle,
Cardiff City Centre.
Originating as Cardiff's first ever, outdoor Multicultural Mela showcasing a wide diversity of cultures, music, dance, arts, fashion and food to name a few. Although the Mela's roots are Asian cultures, this is a festival for all and aims to educate, share and celebrate all cultures.'
The event itself is to be opened by the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councilor Gillian Bird, and promises to be well worth a visit.
