That Awkward Moment When...

  • Awkward

Since most of my articles are poems, I decided to do something different.

The awkward moment when someone is like, "Hey! Missed you!" and you have no idea who it is.

The awkward moment when you realise they were talking to you...

The awkward moment when they were actually waving to the person next to you.

The awkward moment when you realise you were the only one who signed up for the school netball team.

The awkward moment when the whole class decides to be quiet and your stomach decides to let out the ultimate grumble.

That awkward moment when they could have sat anywhere on the empty train but went and sat next to you.

The awkward moment when you see someone walking down the incredibly long corridor who you don't want to talk to and you both look really interested in the wall.

That awkward moment when a gangster walks in McDonald's and orders a happy meal only for the free toy.

That awkward moment when you accidentally hurt someone and they start crying and all you can say is, "Sorry!"

That awkward moment when you ask the person, "So, when is the baby due?" and it turns out they are just fat.

Quite a few of those have happened to me. They're waving at me but not waving at me has happened too many times... (facepalm) xx

Got something to say?
