Summer Learning
The Cardiff Summer Learning Festival is back, with many free activities for young people to take part in during the holidays.
There is a wide variety of different courses in various locations across the city for young people to choose from, including:
? Arts
? Theatre
? Dance
? Film
? Digital Production
? Sport And Outdoor Adventures
? Music
? Skills For Life
Among these different courses, theSprout will be running a website journalism course. You will be shown how to use theSprout website and will write your own news stories and take photos with the latest camera and video equipment. Your story may even be posted on the website.
You will have three different opportunities to take part in this exciting course in Cantonian High School from 10am-1pm.
The first takes place on Thursdy 23 and Friday 24 July. The code for this course is 021 (you need to put the code on the sheet, which comes with the booklet).
The second course runs from Thursday 30 to Friday 31 July. The code for this is 02.
Your final opportunity to take part is on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August. The code for this is 020.
This course will it build your confidence and journalism skills. You will also make friends and - most importantly - have a lot of fun!
