Slendy's Watching Me #1

There was a wood by my house and I used to go walking in it alone a lot. Lots of people are scared of woodlands, because you can't always see what's out there or what's watching you.

But I never felt that way, I always liked woods, I felt safe. I don't know what it was, I've always been drawn to forests and woodlands.

Something happened in those woods when I was about 5 or 6. I had walked quite far in. I was sobbing because my dad had hit me, when I saw something move behind me.

I turned and I saw him. He was about seven-foot-tall, had a black suit, black tie and lacked a face. I'd never seen anything like him. He had really long thin arms and what looked like tentacles coming out of his back. He took a step towards me, I panicked and closed my eyes. When I opened them he was gone.

No one believe me it was real though. They just thought I was crazy.

A few days later I walked through the woods again. I was sobbing this time too. I wasn't looking where I was going and I didn't notice the red ball that rolled out from in the trees and tripped over it. It didn't hurt but because I was upset, I took it out on the ball and kicked it as hard as I could into a bush. I kept walking, then suddenly I felt something lightly bounce off the back of my head. I turned and looked down; it was the ball. I was confused. I called out 'Hello?' but no one replied. I picked up the ball and threw it back into the bush. It got thrown back. I did this a few times, It was kinda like playing catch I guess. I soon stopped crying and thinking about why I was crying.

But after a while, who or whatever was playing catch with me, stopped. I plucked up the courage to look in the bush. There was no one there, just the ball and a piece of paper with a circle with an 'X' going through it.
