A high school in Cardiff could soon have their very own professional sports facility.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf, in Llandaff North, are planning to build far more than just a typical sports hall: they are proposing to build a weatherproof, floodlit, AstroTurf pitch which matches both the size and standard of a professional international hockey pitch.

During school hours the facility would be used exclusively by Glantaf pupils, but on evenings and weekends it would be made available to the rest of the community.

Looking forward to it?  Reckon it'll actually happen?  Leave a comment and let us know your thoughts.
