School Strife
Over the past couple of days theSprout has received some short articles about school and we thought it would be a good idea to combine them all into one big article, so here goes!
School Uniform Should Be Banned!
In many students' opinions they hate wearing school uniform! Students of any school should have the opportunity to wear what they desire to express themselves. I'm a student myself at a high school and I think, along with the majority of my friends, that we should have the right to wear whatever we like! A lot of people want the ability to look like themselves and not in uniform, which everybody looks the same in!

This One Girl
There's this one girl in all of my lessons and she's nasty. We used to be good friends but she turned horrible when I decided to be friends with someone else; it's called jealousy. She used to be the only one I would rely on but when a new girl came and we were close, she turned into an evil person. All of my crew hate her for what she has done. She's selfish, nasty and self-conceited. We have had so many memories but we cannot be friends as I cannot stand to be around her now, what should I do?

Ban On School Uniform!
I think that schools all round the world should ban school uniform, you all might be thinking why? That's why I'm posting, to let you know why I think we all should!
School uniform is like banning a feeling. Kids these days want to express themselves all the time, not just on the weekend and school holidays! They might want to be Goth, religious, whatever, in their clothing, they don't want to be tied down to one boring uniform every day all day!
Obviously they can't go wild and wear massive high heels and tiny tops, but they can express themselves! It is very important to let children and teenagers express themselves. If you don't do so early on in life, then they will be afraid to express themselves because of what other people think, but if they start early on in life, then it will be much easier!

Teachers Are Going Crazy With Bad Marks!
They give out bad marks for the tiniest things! They should be more civil with bad marks, like give a warning before they give you a B1 or a H, etc. because some people might not know what they are doing wrong?!
If you give out bad marks easily, they will lose their meaning and kids will just think that they are not as important as they were! I am posting this to help pupils and teachers!

Why is the United Kingdom so concerned about school uniform? I guarantee that in almost every American high school program you watch, the kids are wearing their own clothes. I hate having to wear the same thing as everyone else. Especially since some people look better in it than others do; I believe people should be able to wear what they feel comfortable in.
Personally the only school uniform I'd like to wear is Hogwarts' robes. Swish!

@lauren2273 "Students of any school should have the opportunity to wear what they desire to express themselves" - So surely if people should have the right to wear what they want, then uniforms shouldn't be banned, as banning an outfit is not letting people wear what they want to.
@bubblewrap123 Well, you seem to have already made your mind up. You're just going to not be friends with her. I don't even see why you would bother asking when you made it so blatantly obvious that you had new friends and therefore didn't need her now.
@Buzz If the only word you can think of to use is s***, then you need school more than anybody else on here. Don't be so arrogant as to throw away a basic human right that people have fought for centuries to provide.
@Barleysugarxx See my comment to lauren2273. Banning any type of clothing is denying people their individuality. I think what the two of you may be seeking is a lifting on the implimentation of compulsory school uniforms. However, I can assure that there are various benefits to having school uniforms just as there are various benefits to not having them. I suggest that you both look into the counter-argument before you make up your mind. P.S. Your username would be amazing if it didn't have the 'xx' on the end.
@PixieFairyMagic Firstly, realise that every school has a different system of punishment and most people aren't likely to know what a B1 or an H is. Which brings me on to my second point. It's an H. Not a H. Although overall, I pretty much agree with you.

I am friends with barleysugarxx in real life and we go to the same school. A 'H' is when you don't do your homework and it gets recorded in your planner. A B1 is a Behaviour warning and it continues up to a B4. We also have an 'L' for lateness 'U' for incorrect uniform and an 'E' if we don't have the incorrect equipment.

Failure Sam! Haha! Fair enough. The H thing wasn't a mjor thing. It was just something that bugged me.
@Barleysugarxx I just think Barleysugar would have been a great name. Adding the xx to it just makes it seem a little bit more generic. If you're happy with it, then that's cool! :)
@lauren2273 I figured it would be something like that. By pointing out the fact that people might not know what those things were I was trying to help you realise that arguments need to presented in a way that's accessable to all. There's no point in presenting your opinion when no-one can understand it :)
