Rock In The Library
On Saturday 16th April in Cardiff Central Library the following bands: My Forgotten Desire, Love The Judge, Inconsiderate Parking, The Motive, The Fine Line and Scriber, went head-to head for the chance to perform at this year's Cardiff Mardi Gras and other exciting prizes and for experience.
The judges at this very good event were : Neil Navarra (DJ), Scott Davies (Cardiff Mardi Gras) Dan Fry (Magenta), our very own Arielle Tye (Sprout Editor) and Paul Lyons (Cardiff Youth Service) the winner of the event were The Motive.
The Motive commented: We were very excited and over joyed to win the spot on this years Mardi Gras. Still can't really believe we won it over the other bands. We thought we didn't stand a chance. It's going to be a great show in September. We're all really looking forward to it and cannot wait to perform in front of the people at Cardiff Mardi Gras later this year and to also perform alongside some other great acts.'
