  • The Wish front cover

The Wish is a very interesting and well-written book.

Its basic plot follows the story of a boy called Jamie who finds a magical orb. He gets told by a magical warrior that if he helps five people within a month, he will get to wish anything he wants, but if he doesn't, then the warrior will take his soul, forever.

Jamie has just moved from Brixton and is being bullied by a boy called Spencer at his new school. I won't tell you who he helps because that would ruin the book for you, but for you to find out who he helps, you'd better start reading!

Overall, I would recommend The Wish; it's a good read and I would read it again.
