Review: Stubborn Heart - Better Than This
I absolutely love this song! Honestly, I don't know why, I just do. Actually, I think I do know why, it's probably the style, dubstep with a hint of garage.
Some people might disagree with me on this, but I think that this is a really inspiring song. It's basically telling you can do so much better in anything. Even if you got an A* in a GCSE, you can still improve.
There has been a lot of remixes of this song and my favourite has to be the Soft Version. It's the sound of it that I just love.
Before I got this single, I didn't really know who Stubborn Heart were, but now I do, I'm so glad! If you don't know who they are (which you need to!) read on:
Stubborn Heart is a British electronic soul music duo consisting of Luca Santucci and Ben Fitzgerald.
The pair actually claim to be part of a longer lineage than the garage-dubstep continuum, calling what they do "electronic soul from the heart" and citing influences from the 60s (Stubborn Heart is an old northern soul track) and 80s synth-pop, as well as 90s techno, house and garage. Comparisons have been drawn with The XX, SBTRKT, My Computer, Mount Kimbie, James Blake and Four Tet.

I might be able to go (YES!) I thought I couldn't because I have piano lessons but my mum said she could always move it to Tuesday, so you might see me there :)

Unfortunately I swim Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday so I can't move my piano to a different day. :(
