Review: Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition

I'm not that much of a reader or a gamer. Plus, this is my first book review. So, this should be fun!

Anyway, I think that this book is aimed at 7-14 year olds who, obviously, are into games. It has a lot of pictures, for the ones that don't like reading too much!

However, I find most of the body text a bit too small to read and because the main text colour they use is white, it is even harder most of the time.

An idea I like that they've used is that on the first page of each section (Minecraft, Wii U, Nintendo, Arcade etc.), there is a question for you to have a go at, for example, "What is the name of the main character in The LittleBigPlanet series?"

And for the ones that need that extra bit of wow-factor, just look out for the little boxes entitled "WOW!"

I would give it three stars out of five.
