Glamour Of The Kill + Iwrestledabearonce + We Came As Romans + Alesana
CF10
5th February 2012

Last night was freaking amazing! I saw Glamour Of The Kill, Iwrestledabearonce, We Came As Romans and Alesana in Cardiff in CF10

Glamour of The Kill opened and as always they were amazing. I've seen them once before when they played with Forever The Sickest Kids. We managed to make a five man wall of death at that gig, I don't know how. It's the same story for All Time Low last week, I don't even know how there was a pit at that gig.

It sucked that GOTK only played four songs. They ended with Feeling Alive and a proper Wall of Death this time. I got killed in there, I lost my balance, fell over when I got jumped on. I got trampled and punched in the face on the way down, I had to crawl out from under it and was picked up by someone off the ground. I managed to mess up my foot badly, the pain started kicking in towards the end of WCAR.

Iwrestledabearonce were up next and were terrible, their lead singer may be incredibly hot but I think my ears were bleeding when she was screaming. Before anyone tries to say that only men can pull off screamo, that isn't true. The screamer for Arch Enemy and Rolo Tomassi are both women and are amazing. It's just a shame Krysta Cameron sucks at it.

WCAR were amazing! They were even better than I expected. They mostly played old stuff like Roads That Never End, To Plant A Seed, Dreams and Intentions. Just Keep Breathing was epic live. I got a band tee at the end for 15 quid and picked up a poster. It was a donation price, so I could have paid nothing for it, but I donated a pound for it anyway. I did the same for the Alesana poster.

Alesana seriously stole the show completely for me. I don't think I've ever screamed as loudly as I did for The Curse Of A Virgin Canvas. My friend Rhys was too ill to make the gig so I rang him during The Thespian and screamed down the phone at him. I'm so sorry, Rhys that you had to hear my singing/screaming.

Although, I had pushed my way to the front for their set, I was stuck behind one of the speakers with my friends Liv and Zoe and could barely see anything. It didn't help the security guard was standing right in front of the band.

They ended with Annabel and by then my foot was really beginning to throb with pain. I think it's okay-ish now though. I really hope so anyway. All in all it was a good night! Thank you for coming to Cardiff guys!

There’s no better feeling than being at a concert. That feeling that every single person at that show has listened to the same songs as you and have all been touched by the same lyrics as you, there's nothing compared to it. I always make sure I have a gig coming up. It's something to live for, no, it's something I do live for. For a few hours you get to stand side by side with thousands of other screaming fans and every worry you have, every bad thought just gets lost in that screaming and adrenaline. So, really thank you for tonight!
