Wrestling is set to return to Cathays, with ATTACK! Pro Wrestling about to make their Welsh debut! On Saturday February 11th, Cathays Community Centre will play host to some of the most exciting indy wrestling on British shores. Wrestling fans of all ages will be able to enjoy the hard-hitting, fast-paced action, as some of the country’s top junior heavyweights face off.

Wrestlers set to appear include some of the best wrestling talent from Wales and beyond. The show marks a homecoming for a couple of stars who have found their way around the globe in the last year. Cardiff born high-flyer “White Lightning” Mark Andrews had a breakout year in 2011, wrestling all over Britain as well as in Spain and Germany, topped off with a trip stateside for one of the USA’s top independent wrestling promotions (CHIKARA in Pennsylvania). The show will also be the first Cardiff appearance in some time for “The Pride of Wales” Eddie Dennis, who has carried the flag as far afield as America and Canada in recent times.

All profits from ticket sales and refreshments and merchandise sold on the night will be donated to local charity Recovery Cymru. Recovery Cymru is a mutual-aid support community in Cardiff, aiming to empower individuals to recover from substance use problems. When we heard about all the hard work they do, we decided we wanted to help out by raising some awareness and a few quid too! There are more details on their website: www.recoverycymru.org.uk/

The doors will open at 7pm, with the first bell at 7.30pm. Tickets are now on sale for just £6, and are available from http://www.attackprowrestling.co.uk. We highly recommend buying in advance to ensure admission, as we expect there to be very few (if any) tickets available on the door.
