Poem: My Cat
My cat is black and white,
A weak one in a fight,
She goes out for the whole day,
Then comes back to my house, to lay.
She wakes me up in the middle of the night,
I look at her, she is awake and bright.
She sleeps on my bed, all night long,
And in the morning, she yells out her song.
She demands food, all the time,
As she can't talk, she tries to mime,
I finally understand her; I give her some food,
And then quickly, she changes her mood.
She runs out the cat flap,
She can hear a dog yap,
I call her in,
But she doesn't even turn her chin.

you said that she "sleeps all night" but before you say "she wakes me up in the middle of the night" and "she is awake and bright" so how can she be asleep all night and be awake and bright in the middle of the night?

kit-kat - Could you please stop trying to catch me out on everything because you obviously have not read this properly again! People can wake up in the night and be awake and bright! DUH! It's poetry, not a controlled assessment but there is no problems with this poem anyway, it all makes sense. Read it again until you understand it because I can assure you; my cat sleeps on my bed, she wakes me up because she jumps off to go to get some food in the middle of the night, and then she comes back whilst being awake and bright! LOL! DUH!
