New Experience #83: Writing/Receiving A Love Letter
So, I met a girl from London at the beautiful Green Man Festival and we clicked instantly. Numbers were exchanged, then addresses. Then I put pen to paper and posted.
Rating: 5/5 I haven't sent a hand-written letter in many years and it felt amazing to open up to a stranger, tell her about my life, wait a few days and then hear about hers. So very romantic... beats Facebook chat any day.
New Experience #84: Tie-Dyed Tees
I was about to head off to my fourth and final festival of the summer, the mighty mainstream moshpit that is Reading and wanted to dress for the occasion. So with fellow revellers, Hannah and Gareth, in tow we spent a morning tie-dying old white tees, with the collective aim of being the coolest people at the event. If I remove the sarcasm from the numerous "Nice tie-dye mate!" heckles received, then I can safely say it worked.
Rating: 5/5 Clearly, the oh-so lovely, accepting and friendly Reading crowd (my time for sarcasm) couldn't deal with our we-didn't-get-this-at-Topman look... still, the tie-dying itself was a blast and is a great way to upcycle old clothes.
