New Experience #26: Quiz Night

What better way to end a week than by testing your general knowledge in your primary school’s hall? No, don’t answer that.

The Rhydypenau Quiz Night was full of medics, teachers and other well qualified professionals whose collective level of knowledge, even after a tipple, was far superior to the Cardiff High table I was a part of.

Our team name, We Don’t Know Who David Cassidy Is, jovially reflected our junior nature but felt slightly pathetic when we ended up in last place. We did win some cheese though, which was a definite plus point.

Rating: 4/5 Bit of a shame that my general knowledge is so poor but to be fair, most of the questions were aimed at my parents’ generation. It was all in aid of the NSSPC and was a good laugh, but I’ll swot up a bit next time.
