I go to Llanover Hall Arts Centre three times a week to do drama Tuesdays to for the youth theatre, Wednesdays for A-Level drama and Sundays for Llanover Hall popular youth theatre.

This is my eighth year there. I've done twelve shows and I’m currently rehearsing for my thirteenth. I’ve done all types of shows including comedy. My first show was a small sketch show. My second show was Aladdin were I played a guide, stall holder and a gem in a cave. For my third show I did another kind of sketch show where I played a wizard looking for all types of ingredients for a potion and going on an adventure.

For my fourth show I did a show called An Act Of Murder. It was about a director that faked his own death and stole £50,000. The show was about working out who killed him by flashbacks and interviews. The audience were the ones that had to work it out and they voted to see different things along the way and it was all revealed at the end. I played the understudy, always wanting the bigger parts.

For my fifth show I did something called Armagonian Outta Of Here. This was a comedy about aliens attacking the Earth but there were two sets of aliens, one set were good and one set were bad, but it was made out that the good aliens were bad and the bad aliens were good. I played a posh English soldier in the army.

For my sixth show I did An Act Of Murder 2 which followed what happened after the end of the original play. For my seventh show I did a show called Jingle Hell, a horror show and I was a zombie. For my eighth show a did a comedy sketch show, my group did Miss Would and I was a contestant that couldn’t speak English. For my ninth show I did a show called Life After Death

For my tenth show I did Another Hour. My eleventh show was a show called Jason And The Golden Fleas and I was a UV harpy. My last show was another murder mystery in which I played a judge.

Llanover Hall sounds cool. I've heard of it before but didn't know they put on so many shows. Do they do other stuff there too, other than drama?

Got something to say?
