Hi, I’m a songwriter aspiring to be a journalist.

I have always been interested in creative writing whether it be stories, poems or songs. Whenever I’m feeling upset, depressed or happy it just helps me express my feelings without worrying about a thing.

I write about heartbreak, friendship and many more. I have been writing songs since around June 2011 and my first song wasn't my best but I think I have improved since then. I play the keyboard trying to make a new melody every week.

I've been inspired by many famous singers but most of all my older sister. She has been a big influence on my life, even though we do argue a lot. She plays at festivals and posts her covers and new songs on YouTube.

Every few months I make up a new list of songs and I write them whenever I need to release my feelings. I feel it is better than ranting on about it to people and that can possibly break friendships but that is just my opinion - something everybody is entitled to. Just remember, it's never to late to start a new hobby!
