Don't shove it in my face
All your happiness and grace
I don't want to hear it
Your perfect little life
With the truly un-perfect wife
You love your life and you show it off
And now my gloves have to come off
To show you what it's really like
Pain and misery
Loss and death
This life is wasted on me
Why won't someone put me out of my misery?
I'm silent in my suffering
They all seem to hate me
Not wanting to know me at all
Sometimes I wonder why
But then tears fall from the sky
So don't shove it in my face
Just because I'm stuck in this case
For one day you will look like the fool
I keep putting you out of place
With the sad look on your face
Strings fall from the sky
Connecting to only one
So you can become
My puppet on a string.
