Grassroots is running a photography project promoting ‘Cultural Diversity in Cardiff’. ‘MY I.D.’ will include a photo gallery of young people aged 16 to 25. The project will focus on the individual’s identity.

The gallery will include individual’s photographs, fingerprints, ethnic background/countries flags, their likes/dislikes, religion and hopes and dreams. All of this information will be inputted into photoshop and later blown up onto A2 ready to be exhibited in a gallery.

Photographs and statements from the young people will be displayed in an exhibition at Grassroots, and at The Cardiff Visitors Centre. A virtual gallery will also be displayed on the Sprout website.

The overall aim of the project is to promote cultural diversity, citizenship and young people’s identities.
