Loud & Proud Is Changing!
As you know Loud & Proud (LGBT) provision has been around for a while now and is always working hard to hear what the LGBT community want from an LGBT youth provision.
After the original consultation run by the City Centre Street-Based Team you asked for Loud & Proud to be open on a Saturday to provide a safe space for you to come along too.
After a while we noticed that the people who wanted Loud & Proud didn't come along so now we are changing our opening hours to try and work with more young people from across the city and surrounding areas.
We will still be operating in the same way offering fun and interesting activities and chances to participate in events we run such as the Cardiff Wales LGBT Mardi Gras Youth Zone or the U Share Network. We also are going to be running a project with CLIC to update the information section on sexual orientation and gender identity issues.
Loud & Proud will now be open on:
Monday Evenings from 5.30pm until 8pm
Saturday Afternoons from 2.00pm until 5.00pm
This change will take affect from Saturday 8th January 2011.
