Leave Michael Bubl Alone
A big part of being a celebrity, means having to be in the media spotlight. A lot of celebrities have to read stuff about themselves that they don’t like. This can often put people off celebrities in general, but never really the media.
A good example of this would be the recent focus on the stunning chart stud Michael Bubl. Bubl has made several chart hits, and has been an inspiration, not only for his good looks, but for his amazing voice and sweet personality.
Bubl is a 35 year old Italian-Canadian singer who was born on September 9th 1975. He has won three Grammy Awards and has sold over 25 million albums globally. He fits in well with current chart music but can also mix with different genres, from jazz and big band music to soft rock and easy listening songs. He has been active since 1996, and his singing career has also allowed him to take on roles as an actor but he is most famous for hit songs like Haven’t Met You Yet, Home, and Everything.
One of the most challenging things for celebrities to do is to fit in to the average good physique. It’s not only women who face challenges with their body image but also men. Celebrities have a hard time trying to keep their bodies in shape, and need to stay in shape because they care about their appearance. However, Bubl has recently found himself under the media spotlight because of his “weight issues”, which has given him a lot of bad press.
I read The Daily Mirror the other day and it said that when Michael was on holiday he gained some weight. The daily star headline for Michael was “Singer Michael Bubl looking blubbery on holiday with fiance Luisiana Lopilato in Barbados”. Why not get your shirt off while you’re in Barbados, especially if you’re Michael Bubl? I was appalled reading the article, not only am I a big fan, but he is my idol, and for the media to pick on his weight difference and publish pictures was completely unfair.
Some people are not happy about this because the paper thinks he is fat and they are exploiting him. Shouldn’t the media be using their audience to try and stop exploiting people? I disagree with what the paper wrote, so what if he has gained some weight, that doesn’t make him fat. I think Michael Bubl is an amazing singer and he is very good looking and I will love him no matter what and I’m sure his other fans think the same.
Michael Bubl is only human. So many people seem to have issues with their weight at the moment, and it is articles like these which make people conscious. Not all celebrities are perfect, but sometimes it’s understandable that celebrities do the wrong things, after all, people slip up under pressure. All I am left thinking is how Michael Bubl would be feeling after reading that.
People put on weight, so what? He is still stunning, and has a sexy body... Oh and his voice is also amazing.

I agree. I'm not a fan but picking on him for his weight is horrible. He's a 35 year old man on holiday. Give him a break!
