Kids in Glass Houses Return
Kids in Glass Houses return once again to the city where they emerged..
Yes Wales they're back, after a hugely successful run at festivals such as Leeds and Reading and the absolutely huge release of their latest album "Dirt" accompanied with their tour right across Europe, the Cardiff based rockers have returned to their roots for the SWN festival taking place between the 22nd and 24th of October.
With expectations high in the capital after the apparent success of Dirt, none more pleased with the results than frontman Aled who said:
"We’ve always prided ourselves in being good songwriters but we’ve really stepped it up a notch"
Not afraid to say what the people are thinking he also adds:
"A lot of music around now sounds like it’s coming off a conveyor belt. We wanted to step away from that, stick our necks out and go ‘Hang on, we’re a rock band. Let’s have it!"
Kids in Glass Houses are emerging from the scene explosively with a brand new single "The best is yet to come" getting fans new and old pumped up and ready to back their ever growing ambitions.
With the announcement of the band playing in Spillers records on the weekend, recognised as being the heart of Welsh music as long as memory accounts for, it's promised to be special.
Following the performance, Aled will take to the turntables for an under 18's event featuring DJ sets by Aled and Sean from fellow Welsh band The Blackout.
After their November tour to around the UK sold out fans can't get enough of the pentuplet, so hold on tight, because these are the ones to watch!
If you have any feedback on this article it'd be much appreciated as this is my first time publishing one, and I hope to do many more!
Thanks,
Jack
