Kickstarter For Medusa's Trap By Erik Satie @ The Abacus
The time has come for me to put my attention into theatre. It has always been a dream to direct and act and now it's all falling into place.
Like my namesake, a brand new theatre company is to be born. Weeping Tudor Productions shall stage works rarely seen, as well as new pieces, and pieces that emphasise LGBT+ themes.

Our inaugural piece is to be Medusa's Trap by Erik Satie. The French composer has a big 150th birthday celebration next year, so this is a preview to that. I'm also planning a festival, but that will come later.
I'm getting the actors, we have the space, the piano needs tuning and I am on the hunt for props and costumes. I don't think I've ever been so busy!
If you could donate the smallest amount, it all goes into the show. There are perks as well with pledges. See the show for free, have your name in the programme, have behind the scenes access etc... All this is available for people who pledge. You have just under 30 days to make your contribution.
It's an odd story about Baron Medusa, with his bizarre persona and how he deals with the courtship of his daughter to a suitor, all the whole being abused by his butler. It's a curious work, with a dancing monkey (I will play this) and a piano with paper in the strings, one of the first instances of prepared piano.
So dig deep, share the Kick Starter around and come see some oddball, French theatre this winter.
Medusa's Trap shall be performed at The Abacus this winter. Dates to be confirmed.
