It Does Not Do Well To Dwell On Dreams

Trust me, we all make mistakes
And wear smiles that are faked,
But we all still have enough strength to carry on,
When it seems like this is more than we can take.

Admitting defeat is not a crime
But giving up is not an option.

Come here and take my hand,
Together we can fight through the worse of this,
Through the fire and the rain,
Through the lies and pain.

"It does not do well to dwell on dreams",
Now forget your past and learn to let live.

From the moment I was born
I have done nothing but scream,
And even in my darkest of days
There’s still a light in my eye that gleams!

A light that searches for not your or His forgiveness
But for hope, acceptance and some f***ing change.

Life is not about who you were born
But what you have overcome,
I have no sympathy for a coward,
stand with me and fight against what this world has become.
