Introducing Sticks & Stones
Sticks & Stones are an up and coming four-piece pop-punk band from Cardiff, South Wales.
Planted in April of this year, the seed of SAS has already firmly taken root and produced a very raw and heart felt five-track EP, as well as putting on various small-time imitate shows in and around Cardiff.
Although it is certain that SAS are in the early stages of development (which it should be seeing as the band only started in April), there is one extremely strong song on their self titled EP called Dale Said, which just so happens to be the first track on the EP. The song itself is very bouncy and uplifting and it also gains extra points for the Adventure Time reference in the intro.
If this solid track is anything to base what the future of this band will look like, it is clear as day that we can expect great things from this band and it's worth watching the space they've taken root in.
Sticks & Stones have taken most of their influences from bands such a; The Wonder Years, New Found Glory, Blink 182, The Story So Far and Four Years Strong (and Adventure Time obviously). And it's safe to say, any fans of those bands will be a sure fan of these.
