Hey guys!

So, it's Halloween soon!

I'm going over one of my closest friend's house with my best friend. We're going to watch some scary movies, then go trick or treating, but, I have no idea what to go as!

I am thinking of going as a creepy, broken china doll. I'd wear a dress and tights, put my hair in pigtails, and draw cracks on my face and possibly arms with liquid eyeliner, but I'm not sure.

Can you please leave suggestions in the comments below as to what I should go as. I'd rather not spend any money, so any costumes that I can do using makeup and clothes in my wardrobe would be great! For those of you who don't know, I am a teenage girl. I really hope you can help!

I really like your idea! i think it'd look brilliant! If not there's always other things you can do! Any old clothes you dont mind getting wrecked, you can pour a bit of red paint on, and paint your face (be a zombie)! What's your friend going as? Perhaps you could be like creepy sisters!

I hope you have a great night! (I can't stand halloween)!

Wear black and say you're a vampire/shadow hunter
Wear black and a messed up veil, do creepy death-like face paint and be like a dead bride or something

Remember Hallowe'en this year is the same day as the Sprout Editorial Group Meeting, so you'd better all be turning up and showing off your spooky outfits. :D

Question: when is it socially acceptable to put up your decorations? My skeleton wants to come out of the closet but I don't want to freak out all my neighbours (yet).

Dan I've seen decorations up already :') I walked past a neighbours house and jumped out of my skin when something jumped at me (I was walking home from school)!

I really dislike halloween... :(

@CR3ATIV3 - I love the mortal instruments! and i was thinking of being a shadowhunter, but i don't have a leather jacket :(
I really like the idea of creepy sisters. My best friend is going as a cat and i'm not sure about my other friend. Haha, I love halloween - you can dress up in a scary costume, go out with your friends and get free sweets. Whats not to love?! @CLICdan - I would put it out now, just to scare your neighbours haha! Thank you all for your suggestions! I have some ideas now, but anymore ideas would be appreciated :)

Talcum powder in the hair is a classic cheap Hallowe'en trick, gives a good ghostly and dusty effect.

CLICdan, the skeletons in your closet are best left unspoken of. ;)

I think your idea is a very good one. I don't have any good advice, because I have a Christian family and I am never allowed to go trick or treating. But the most easy idea that I have heard of is to get a plain white sheet, cut two holes in it, drape it over yourself and BOOM - you are a ghost!

Got something to say?
