Health: How's Our Info?
Hi everyone, our great big CLIC info section review continues with a look at our health pages.
The info section review is looking at whether our information is accurate, up-to-date and relevant to you, the readers and users of CLIConline and the CLIC Collective.
Rather than just us doing it we’re getting in some professionals who are specialists in each section but we’re also after feedback from you. We’ve already met with some dieticians to look at our section on nutrition, and we plan to meet many more, but if you have recommendations for more organisations, especially if you’ve used them, then we’d love to hear from you.
There’s three ways that you can feedback on whether our section on health is any good or if you have any organisations to recommend:
- Comment on the relevant section or sub-section on the site, just as you would with an article, or below this article
- Via the CLIC National Editorial Group on Facebook
- Emailing Sam@CLIConline.org.uk
Health
Health is one of the biggest and most visited parts of the whole information section, so it's really important that we get it right. The health section covers everything from depression to dope, eczema to emergency services, and loads of things in-between.
The whole section can be seen here - http://www.cliconline.co.uk/en/info/health/ - and it is currently broken down into -
- Emotional and Mental Health
- Drugs, Alcohol and Substances
- Sexuality and Sexual Health
- Health and Body Matters
- Disability
- Health Services
- In an Emergency
So, should sexuality and sexual orientation be in the health information section at all? Do you know the difference between M.S., M.E. and M.D.? Is our info on spots any good? Also our disability section is looking pretty empty, so any pointers there would be great.
We would really like your feedback, either posted on the relevant section, on the Facebook group or if you would prefer to do it privately then you can email Sam@CLIConline.org.uk
All we’re asking is if you could spare a few minutes every once in a while to look at a couple of sections and let us know if the info is OK, if you have any changes to the text or if you know any relevant links or videos. This would be a massive help to us and to the young people of Wales.
Any and all feedback is most welcome.
