Gay marriage. Something that has divided people and joined people for years.

The government is going to be tackling the subject head on in an attempt to make gay marriage legal and put gay married couples on the same footing as heterosexual couples.

I think this is great and that it should have been done a long time ago. I think love is love however you look at it, you can’t help who you are attracted to and we can’t all be the same, that would be very boring.

An article published on MSN has described why the Church of England are against it and how they feel that by same sex couples getting married it will undermine the marriage ceremony.

The reporter has written a really good piece about it and has called into question what the Church of England is basing ideas on, considering marriage has always been seen as second best to full celibacy in the church.

A small article really to share this piece with you all, as I know a lot of people on theSprout feel strongly about such things and will be happy to hear the news.

What do you think? Are we finally making good process? Or will this cause more arguments and discrimination?
