Fat Dragon Studios
Youth work week began on a high note with the launch of Trelai Youth Centre's multi media project, Fat Dragon Studio's.
Over 150 people visited throughout the day to check out what this huge youth centre has to offer. The Lord Mayor opened the launch of the multi media project and announced the new name of their music studios- 'Fat Dragon Studios'.
It was a buzzing night with music, activities and a movie playing on a giant screen in the sports hall.
A number of organisations such as : Meic, Cardiff Family information service, The Sprout and Clubs for Young People Wales also turned up making use of the games room to talk to families and young people about their services.
The centre is very impressive and needs to be seen to be believed. We went along earlier on in the day to take some photos and we were really impressed with what was on offer! There was a huge sports hall, a gym, a climbing wall, a music studio, a tuck shop, a chill out zone, a computer suite, a games room and a play area. The centre offers its space for young people with all different types of interests and mixed abilities.
