Designer Labels

Designer labels. Loads of people buy them... but why??

1. Some people think they're cool

2. Some people buy them because it's what's in fashion

3. Some people don't care about the name

4. Some buy it because they like designer labels

But what I don't get is when people buy designer labels for no reason whatsoever just because everyone else does. Take trainers for example, no one cares what the make is but there are all sorts of different labels?Nike, Adidas, Lonsdale, Ecko etc.

Some labels have celebrity endorsement. This is when a celebrity is paid to show up and do a couple of photos and talk about the product. Sometimes they even do a commercial for the company.?

Just like when Rihanna?was?paid a staggering?$20,000,000 (twenty million dollars) from Nike to endorse them.?

But what's the difference between designer and normal clothes??

Maybe the designer labels use expensive fabrics which make the clothes longer lasting? Or maybe?the designer labels have better taste than the people who design normal clothes?

I think the main reason is THE NAME. Think about it, say you bought a jacket with the label name McKenzie. You love the design and the quality but it costs £39.99.

But what if there was the EXACT same jacket over in America but it didn't have the name McKenzie on it and was £10?

You would be gutted! Would you keep the one you bought or return the jacket and buy the one from America?

YOU DECIDE!!!

I'm someone who doesn't care about the labels. I only buy clothes if I like them, whether they are designer or not.
