Cameron's Back In!
As with everything on theSprout.co.uk, the views in this article are those of the author and not necessarily of theSprout.co.uk
After a long time of preparation for the general election, we finally have heard the outcome!
David Cameron (Conservatives) has been elected again as Prime Minister!
Out of the 650 seats available in Parliament, the Conservatives (also known as "Tories") won 331 seats, which is 51% of the seats. Followed by Labour (Ed Miliband) with 232 seats (36%) and then the rest of the seats were taken by other parties. Liberal Democrats (run by Nick Clegg) has only been able to win eight seats but I guess that's because he isn't a very good leader.
Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage (UKIP - United Kingdom Independence Party - who only managed to win one seat) have all resigned as heads of their parties with Nigel Farage stating that he would think about re-applying over the summer.
Unfortunately we won't hear about new leaders until after the summer but I can say how great it is that David has been elected again as he is such a good leader! The other ones who have resigned in my opinion were not very good leaders, especially Nigel Farage as his party was very racist and homophobic.

Just a little update: Nigel Farage (Head of UKIP) has been declined resignation by the board and is staying in his place as leader of the United Kingdom Independence party.

Oh, THIS good leader! I thought we were talking about the man who has every intention of repealing the fox hunting ban, abolishing the Human Rights Act, and continuing to allow multi-billion corporations to avoid paying any tax whatsoever whilst taxing the hell out of the poorest people in Britain. But after all the positive things you mentioned about this guy, like how many seats he won, I figure we must be talking about two different people.

Samuel Patterson, I don't know whether you are being sarcastic or not. Please just explain your point so I can understand it................

Would safely say that's sarcasm Sean, if you hadn't noticed Cameron isn't exactly the nation's sweetheart at the moment :')

I trust Mr. Cameron as much as I do Donald Trump. Okay, so perhaps he wasn't given a 'small loan of a million Dollars', but he's still hardly a great leader. I don't hate the fact that Cameron is PM again, but there would have probably been better candidates. Or then again, perhaps not...

Jeremy Corbyn in charge of labour. This could be a problem...

Jeremy Corbyn is one of the most open-minded, resourceful, understanding, determined men engaged in politics today. This country would be lucky to have him as its PM. Instead we have a man who f#^&%d a dead pig, launched bombs on innocent civilians in Iraq and Syria, and CONTINUES to believe it's fine for multi-BILLION dollar companies to dodge taxes, only to then up the taxes on the poorest in this country.
