When people bully you, what do you do to fight back? Shout? Tell someone?

Some people don't have parents like us. Bullies don't always have someone to talk to, so they keep it in and pick on others. So look at it from their point of view- they could do with a really good friend to talk to and tell their worries to and get them help.

Like me, when I get too angry I break things. If their parents can't help them to stop getting angry imagine what it could be like. If I'm not a bully and I break things, imagine what they can do with a little anger. So just try looking at things from their point of view.

When they look at your shoes and say they are ugly, maybe what they meant to say was 'where did you get them from?'. They might say something horrible because they want to look hard around their friends. But just remember some of them are not able to talk to their parents or are just jealous.

If you're being bullied or even if you're bullying someone yourself there are loads of organisations out there that can help you.  Have a look at theSprout information pages here.

If you'd like to talk to someone, you can talk to Meic or get in contact with Cardiff Against Bullying.

Great article, though sometimes bullies do just bully for fun, for example i used to get bullied and the people who called me names ect did it because i'd get angry and i'd react to them, in time i became their toy. Still great idea to promote anti bully groups and information.

Is it just me, or does the girl on the left in the middle row look JUST like Jess who went to the CLIC residential in the Bay (and a few before that too I think) who also goes out with Ben?
Maybe it is her...!

Really insightful - I think as much support should be readily available for the bully as it is for the person getting bullied. I found this video the other day which is really powerful as it shows real life accounts from both sides of the story.
