Bob's Interview

I was inspired by one of my friends who always mentions the name Bob for some reason that I'm sure I will never know. To be honest I can't believe I still have this poem since I always thought it was rubbish.

Out one day went Bob,
To an interview for a job.
He had gel in his hair,
His outfit was fair.
New shoes on his feet,
He headed down the street.
Until a bird decided to go plop,
All down his brand new top.
Nearly knocking over a man,
To his house he ran.
After a change of top,
And a trip over his mop.
Looking to the floor,
He walked out the door.
When he got to the interview,
It was about quarter past two.
He said, "Sorry I'm late,"
"This morning hasn't been great."
"You haven't got the job because you can't turn up on time,"
"In this business that's practically a crime."
So off home when Bob,
After failing an interview for a job.
