The Cardiff Blues will play their first ever match in the new Cardiff City Stadium against the Guinness Premiership Champions, Leicester Tigers, on Friday 21 August, 7.30pm kick off.
The historic match will be a repeat of last season's thrilling Heineken Cup semi final game between the Tigers and Blues.
A week later on Friday 28 August, 7.30pm kick off the Cardiff Blues take on the Northampton Saints which is a repeat of last season's EDF Energy Cup semi final that saw the Blues triumph by 11 points to 5.
Speaking ahead of the matches Cardiff Blues director of rugby David Young said,
"We had two very competitive matches against Northampton and Leicester last season and look forward to welcoming them to Cardiff in August.
"Everyone at the Blues are looking forward to playing our first match at the new stadium as I'm sure the fans are. We visited it this week and it is very impressive.
"We will face two English sides in our Heineken Cup group and two in the Anglo Welsh Cup so these friendly matches are a great chance for us to test ourselves against two of the biggest teams in England.
"Northampton are proving to be a real force and are improving season on season while we know all about Leicester being last season's Guinness Premiership Champions and Heineken cup finalists."
Tickets for both matches are included in the price of a Cardiff Blues season ticket, which can be purchased from £170 for adults, £140 for senior citizens and £35 for under 16s. Children aged under nine can go to watch the Cardiff Blues for free with an adult season ticket holder in the Family Stand.
As well as both friendly matches Season Tickets include all regular season Magners League matches, Anglo Welsh Cup home pool matches and Heineken Cup home pool matches - a total of 16 matches. By purchasing a season ticket supporters can save up to 43%.
New this season is the Blues Stadium Card, which is another way for fans to show their support as well as saving money.
Costing £3.50 the stadium card offers value for money enabling supporters to get a £2 discount off every individual match ticket purchased.
As well as money saving the Blues Stadium Card also offers convenience for fans.
Supporters will no longer have to visit the ticket office and wait in line to purchase their tickets as they can now purchase them online or over the phone with the card.
The new service will also eliminate the need to queue up to collect tickets. The Blues Stadium Card is valid for the whole season and all supporters have to do is top up which games they require.
