Bike Or Bus?
How do you get around?
The National Assembly For Wales would like to know your thoughts on walking and cycling.
If you’re someone who regularly walks and/or cycles, they’d like to know of any difficulties you encounter – and if you’re not someone who gets around this way, they’re interested to learn why.
This is because a new law has been proposed, and they want your feedback on whether to back it or not.
The Active Travel (Wales) Bill would make it compulsory for local councils to improve routes for walking and cycling. They would also have to create maps of current and future routes, and promote them to the general public.
It would also take the needs of cyclists and walkers into consideration when building new roads, or improving existing ones. This would be accompanied by a plan to promote walking and cycling.
If you would like to help decide on a new law for Wales, please take a minute to fill out this online questionnaire. Your answers and comments will be read by the National Assembly and will help influence whether or not this law will be passed.
