Yn Gymraeg

Happy New Year to you all!  It's time once again to bring everyone together for a CLIC residential!

Originally planned for this month, bad weather conditions, concerns over travel arrangements and everyone busy having fun over the festive period, we had to make the decision to push our residential back to February.

This time we’re going to be doing something different, with a number of Local Editorial Groups now in place we thought it would be a great idea to invite representatives along to meet each other and members of the National Editorial Group.

Taking on board suggestions from our Planning Residential back in May 2010 we’re sparing our members from Anglesey the long journey across Wales and visiting them for a change!

Taking place at Anglesey Outdoors Centre from Friday 18th - Sunday 20th February 2011 we’re inviting everyone to meet, share ideas and finalise changes to the shared CLIC Info Section.  We'll be rewriting certain sections, making videos and gathering your experiences on particular issues, as well as having a few guest workshops.

You'll be split into groups to work on different subjects, we’ll ensure that new members gain a good understanding of the CLIC network as well.  You'll also have the option of putting your hard work towards an accreditation.  With a variety of activities to keep everyone involved and interested there'll also be the CLIC games challenge to content with.

All transport, meals and accommodation are provided and places are limited, with existing members given priority and spaces allocated for representatives from Local Editorial Groups but new members are always welcome along.

To get an idea of what our residentials are like, watch the video from our late summer residential with a very tired National Editorial Group being interviewed on the Sunday morning!

If you'd like to get involved, please get in touch asap by emailing kath@promo-cymru.org or calling 029 2046 2222.

Although not mentioned, I assume there'll be another famous CLIC's Got Talent? Although Anglesey is absolutely MILES away, I look forward to visiting a new part of Wales. It'll be a great time =D

Glad to hear you're both coming along! Yes Jess, things are going quite well aren't they!

We hadn't planned on another CLIC's Got Talent so soon, but do you think we should consider it? It was really good fun last time :)
