While everyone was going on about the end of the world on Friday (21st December 2012), there was only one thing on my mind; the release of A Day To Remember's new song Violence (Enough Is Enough).

Go on call me a fanboy, I waited up all night for it. It was so worth the wait. With an amazing intro, lyrics and a break down that made me go weak at the knees, this track has me pumped for their upcoming album.

I've included a link, check it out!

I've been a huge fan of the five-piece (Jeremy McKinnon - Vocals -@jeremymckinnon, Alex Shelnutt - Drums -@AlexShelnut, Neil Westfall - Guitar -@NW44, Joshua Woodward - Bass - @JoshuaWoodard, Kevin Skaff - Guitar - @Kevineffinskaff) for what seems like forever.

Since 2003 they've been setting the standard for not to be messed with various albums, releases, killer live shows and the sexiness that is Jeremy McKinnon's beard. My lifetime goal is to touch it, for it holds the secrets to the universe.

Every one of ADTR's albums have been flawless and it's safe to say they have a song for every aspect of angst-ridden teenage life.

Their latest album What Separates Me From You, (recorded on Victory Records) debuted at # 11 on the Billboard Top 200. It sold over 58,000 copies in its first week and the first single off the album All I Want was one of 2011’s most played songs! What Separates Me From You also debuted as the # 1 Rock Album in the UK.

If that's not enough to prove to you what they're made of, ADTR have sold out nearly every single one of their worldwide headline tours, including: UK, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia and South America.

A Day To Remember was also MTV Buzzworthy’s “Breakthrough Band Of The Year” in 2011 and have blessed the covers of the likes of Alternative Press, Kerrang! and Rock Sound with their glory.

And the best thing is, What Separates Me From You isn't even their best album. I think it's a toss up between Homesick and For Those Who Have A Heart but Old Record and Their Name Was Treason are also beautiful.

ADTR have never failed to get me to go from wanting to break everything and get my anger out to making me cry like a baby.

ADTR are for people who like a good mix of clean, unclean vocals, break downs and guitar chugging. So fans of Of Mice & Men, The Story So Far, Four Year Strong and Close Your Eyes.

"You only get one chance and that's one too much! What's the world gonna say when I call your bluff, punk? Bow your head!"
