Were The Moon Landings A Hoax?

Recently in my science class, we were learning about the solar system and there became a debate as to whether or not man had ever landed on the Moon and I have to say, given the evidence, I really don't think anyone ever has, but I decided to investigate anyway.

The Apollo Missions happened between 1963 and 1972. At the time, America and the Soviet Union (now known as Russia) were in a Space Race to see who could get the first man on the Moon.

The Vietnamese War was happening from 1955 to 1975 and many Americans were not happy about this. Some people say that the landings were just filmed in a studio to distract people from the war going on. This is quite a valid point, however, there were 400,000 people involved with the Apollo Programme and it would be quite hard for them to keep a big secret like that with so many people.

When the astronauts landed on the Moon, a film was made of Neil Armstrong coming down the steps of the aircraft. But this film was filmed on the outside of the aircraft which some people think is just more evidence of how it was just a hoax but I did find information on the internet about how it could have been a part of the aircraft which was made to open and the camera would start filming.

Whether this is true or not, no one knows.

Plus, a photo was taken of Armstrong standing by the USA flag and this photo showed the flag shaking about in a breeze but the problem here is that there is no air in the Moon's atmosphere; therefore there was obviously no wind for the flag to blow in. In many of the pictures taken, there seemed to be no stars at all in the background. There are no clouds whatsoever on the moon, meaning that the stars are perpetually visible. One theory is that NASA just filmed it in a studio and left the stars out because they knew it would cause uproar as to where the stars were positioned. NASA used the excuse that the camera quality was too poor to see the stars but I think that as they have made so excuses and as there are so many reasons why it could be a hoax, I think it probably is fake.

And just to let those people who think that they are clever know, that if anyone landed on the moon, the first person on the moon would definitely be Neil Armstrong; not some Russian guy no one has ever heard of. So if any of you get the quiz question, "Who was the first man on the moon", say Neil Armstrong and if they tell you it's wrong, you tell them to look it up on Google because it comes up straight away as Neil Armstrong!

Please comment below with your opinion as to whether or not, man has ever landed on the Moon!

May I remind you that this was in 1969, when the camera quality was awful! Why would NASA, even being the multi-billion dollar organistaion they are, spend billions of dollars on the Sautun V rocket and it's predecessors, and then launch them, just to film the landing in a studio? The moon landfings were real. Period!

(This is all my opinion, you are enttiled to yours)

I agree with simdude101.

Personally, I find it completely believable that the moon landing was a hoax. There's more than enough reason for NASA/The US Government/The Illuminati to have faked the moon landings, as it brought back a lot of faith to the American masses, and helped the US get a knee up on Russia during the Cold War.
However, I do believe that the moon landing is real, mostly because I'm afraid Buzz Aldrin will find and kill me if I say otherwise

You can't tell if a flag is shaking or moving in a breeze from a photo. The simple fact is, the flag was supported at the top with a bar so that it could be visible, rather than just drooping down because of the lack of atmosphere.
