TV Review: The Island With Bear Gyrlls
The Island With Bear Grylls is an exciting programme where two groups (one consisting of men and one consisting of women) are dropped on two different desert islands to see if modern humans can survive alone without any help for six weeks.
It is a very good experiment, but it is also quite dangerous, as they are all on their own, filming themselves. The series has only just started, but a few people have already used the emergency satellite phone to call for a boat to come and pick them up. A lot of this is to do with arguments and people not being able to take the pressure of having to maintain a fire, finding fresh water and finding food.
There are many risks that could potentially kill someone on the two islands, as they are in the Pacific, which means that there are crocodiles, poisonous foods, stingrays, jellyfish and snakes.
The Island With Bear Grylls is on Wednesdays and Thursdays 9pm-10pm on Channel 4.
I would strongly recommend seeing this show, but you might want to get your parents' permission first, as there is a bit of swearing.
