Football is a well known sport.
In a football match you have two teams with eleven players on each side which are goalkeeper defenders midfields and strikers you even have subs to change your players if they are injured, tired or you just want to change the team round a bit.
The object of the game is to score by manoeuvring the ball into the opposing goal. In general play the goalkeeper is the only person in the game to use their hands to grab the ball.
The defenders, midfields and strikers can only use their feet and head to move the ball around
The team at the end of the game who has scored the most goals has won unless it is the same amount of goals then it is called a draw unless it goes into extra time(golden goal) but if no team score’s then it goes into penalty’s.
A football pitch is 90-120 meters long and 40-90 meters wide.
In the match it is 90 minutes long and you get extra time for injuries and that.
45 minutes into the game is half time the team gets
15 minutes to rest and freshen up for the next half with is 45 minutes
