Poem: The Supply Teacher
They stand at the front of the classroom,
They wait and assume,
That everyone will listen to them,
And be as good as a gem.
The poor teacher gains even more stress,
As they let the situation, become a huge mess.
The pupils refuse to work,
And as the teacher gives in, they start to smirk.
The teacher shouts at the top of her voice,
And as no one listens, she decides her choice.
To leave the children as they are,
And quickly get back in her very cheap car.
Into the car she dives,
And off the premises she drives,
With a promise to never go back,
Until all those children get given a good smack.
