You see the unopened packet in the fridge,
Waiting to be devoured,
The smooth indulging texture,
You will be empowered.

The crack as you break a strip off,
Fresh as can be,
On a cosy chair eating chocolate,
That's the place for me.

The sweet, distinct flavour,
Bringing you to comfort,
It slowly melts away,
Ready for another?

From fruit and nut to Oreo flavour,
It gets better every time,
If you thought differently,
You would think that it's just grime.

Chocolate, chocolate,
It always gets you free,
From all surroundings around you,
Just the chocolate and me.

Perfect harmony!
