Poem: Alas She Goes
Alas she goes with tears down her cheeks
dreaming of him every time she sleeps
I want to make her happy, I want to be her lover
but I can't make her happy she wants to love another
I'll do everything to show her how good we might be
make her smile, make her laugh, show her what I see
so if she reads this then hopefully she'll smile
or if she doesn't like it she'll give me time to reconcile
but now, I'll finish this in a poetic and romantic way,
and promise me you'll remember this until your dying day
no matter if the distance between us is near or far
I'll still find a way to remind you how beautiful you are.
