Film Review: The Theory Of Everything
Director: James Marsh
With: Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Tom Prior
12A, 123mins
The Theory Of Everything is an extremely well acted movie based on the life of Stephen Hawking (who is still alive).
It shows how Stephen got a terrible illness called motor-neurone disease and how he has lived through the terrible paralysis, gradually taking over his muscles, stopping him from moving most of his body.
Stephen is diagnosed with this utterly devastating illness while he is studying a PhD in physics at Cambridge University, and after he has just found his true love.
Watch the film to find out how this affects both lives and how Stephen manages to raise his many children. The main actor who plays Stephen Hawking is Eddie Redmayne and he is just outstanding! He even won an Oscar for all his amazing acting skills in this film!
The Theory Of Everything can be a bit upsetting at times but is extremely accurate in regards to the illness Stephen has, and how this has affected him. I would strongly recommend watching this film to anyone, as it is totally amazing and is extremely well acted!
