ASSAULT!
Chris Brown was due in court yesterday to receive his formal punishment for assaulting his former girlfriend, Rihanna.
He had already been given 6 months community service and 5 years probation, but was expected to get more.
The only thing the judge added was that the couple should stay at least 50 yards away from each other apart from in the music events when the amount is reduced to 10.
The assault took place in a car on the evening of the Grammy Awards in February, where they were both meant to perform.
Rumours have it that Rihanna found a text from another woman on Chris’ phone.
It is alleged that Chris Brown attempted to push her out of the car and proceeded to punch her repeatedly. It is believed he also tried to choke her.
His court case has now been moved to the 27th august where he’ll receive his full sentence.
