Co-created by Charlotte Church, Jonathan Powell & Sion Trefor Directed by Bruce Guthrie Performed by Charlotte Church and a company of actor / singers Set to be a hit with adults and children alike, this exclusive commission for Festival of Voice celebrates movement, music, light and – of course – the voice. In the darkest depths of the ocean, the last mermaid emerges from her clamshell and discovers she is the sole survivor of a lost, undersea kingdom. With the help of a new companion, the last whale, the mermaid has the chance to break free from her underwater world and walk on land. But what awaits her above the tender waves? Featuring original music and inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid, this visually stunning piece of new theatre features a central performance from Charlotte Church and is brought to the stage by some of the award-winning team behind last year’s five-star production of Man to Man. 4th - 7pm 5th - no show 6th - no show 7th - 7pm 8th - 7pm 9th - 7pm 10th - 7pm 11th - 1pm and 7pm 12th - 1pm Tickets available from www.festivalofvoice.wales or over the phone on 029 2063 6464 Age guidance 8+ (no under 2s)
